Week -5: Magnetic Levitating Turbine

This week’s Thing is of no practical value at all, but it looks dope, magnets are awesome, and it can sit on my desk and slowly spin.  It’s a magnetic levitating thing I stumbled across on Instructables.  Very simple to print and assemble.  I printed the turbine in PETG and then forgot and printed the supports in PLA, so hopefully it holds together – won’t be in direct sun so I presume it ought to be fine.  The mirrored surface on which the balance needle spins is a cut-down piece of an old hard drive.
